In 2015 Bob Nickas and I had a long conversation about The Melvins' 1994 lp "Stoner Witch".
The book launch was on 6/29/15 at KARMA's old Jones St address where The Melvins performed a short live set:youtu.be/29ILoa4erXQ
The lawyers at Bloomsburry felt that the book's appearance was too similar to their 33 1/3 series and delivered KARMA a "cease and desist" letter.
This letter demanded we burn all the copies.
Only 500 books were published.
